Stock Exchange ListingMowbray Collectables Limited was incorporated under the Companies Act 1993 on 22 February 2000 with company number WN 1015212. The Company's ordinary shares are listed on the New Zealand Exchange Limited with the security code "MOW". Share price listings and market announcements can be found here on the NZX website. The Company was formed as an NCM issuer and in April 2000 obtained listing on the New Zealand Stock Exchange as the first NCM listed company. The Company, as an NCM issuer, was required by the Stock Exchange to identify a Key Transaction. Accordingly, on 18 December 2000, shareholders approved the purchase of businesses owned by John Mowbray as the Key Transaction. The Company achieved it's aim of main board listing on 9 December 2002. This has proved positive for the company and certainly increased the profile and interest in shares. As a result a 1 for 8 rights issue was made at 50 cents per share which was 98.8% subscribed. Immediately prior to this the directors made a private placement of 450,000 shares at 70 cents per share through McDouall Stuart Securities Ltd, sharebrokers. The funds realised were used to purchase the 33% interest in Peter Webb Galleries. A consequence of this was the introducing of the first institutional shareholder, RECT Funds Management Ltd, which now has a significant holding. Their support is welcomed. As a result of graduating to the Main Board, the company is now able to pay dividends. |
