733 / 1899-c1949 extensive seln/colln on Hagners incl: 1899: MNG set of 11; blks of 4 (or larger) - ½d x 3 m, 4 u; 1d x 6 u; 2d, 3d x 1 m, 2 u; 6d u; ½d sepia & blue-green imperf plate proof; a few used & cover. 1902: 80+ blks of 4 (or larger) mix mint & used incl 3d x 2 u; + 2 covers; 1939: about 25 blks of 4. 734 M 1899 ½d + 1d error; two diff centre values printed! It appears that a sheet with the ½d centre impression was under-inked. It was re-inserted into the stack of sheets & subsequently submitted into the 1d centre printing process. Ex Odenweller. BPA cert (1949), with explanation of its occurrence. This is the only recorded example of this value with a double value tablet & is not listed by CP. $2,700.00

736 C 1899 1d illegal use as postage stamp on cover, ex Aponga 7 June 1904 to Auckland (8 June arrival b/s). The then standing Post Office instruction was that Postage Due stamps are not to be used for postal revenue purposes. One possible explanation for this is a temporary lack of 1d postage stamps Aponga post office as the cover bears no postage deficiency h/s. $300.00
737 C 1899 1d on trifold panoramic letter card (internal view of Australia V England cricket match at Sydney, 14 December 1901, repaired with cellotape), ½d & 1d NSW cancelled Sydney 11 March 1904, to Waikino, NZ. Cover bears 1d in blue pencil, Postage Due stamp cancelled Waikino 15 March 1904. $275.00

739 U 1899 2d fine used example cancelled Otaki Railway 30 Nov 1899, 1 day prior to issue. Ex Garlick. Also 2 examples cancelled on 1st day of issue: Auckland (rounded corner) & Devonport 1 December 1899. $675.00

Error plated as being R8/1 position from both frame & centre plates, Ceremuga cert (2009). This is thought to be the only recorded example with this double value tablet, unlisted by CP. $1,500.00
