331 C 1857 (Jan 22) mourning outer to Scotland with 2d blue on blue paper SG 5 (margins just touching at upper left & lower right - to large) tied by very fine "1" cancel of "AUCKLAND" b/s, rated "6" in black, London transit & superb "ABERDEEN / AP 10 / 1857" arrival b/s in green. No 86 April 2 1860 bearing an imperf (4 margins) 1d dull orange FFQ (SG 8) with barred cancel "18" (Otago) on face, barely tied. Stamp with light diagonal crease. Also bears a despatch cds "Otago JY 23 1860" & a handwritten destination "Ottepopo" (sic). $1,500.00
335 C 1862 Columbo wreck cover, Auckland to GB "via Marseille" bearing a single 1d (red, oxidised to brown) rouletted 7 on 3 sides (SG 47). Other stamps missing. Saved from the wreck of the Columbo cachet on reverse along with an Auckland "SP 1862" cds. Cover 'worn' as expected. $1,000.00

P12½ 2d deep blue plate II & a very fine 4d rose tied by "NZ/DUNEDIN/C - OTAGO" duplex, rare usage of "PAID/A/JU25/66/LONDON SHIP LETTER" transit stated to be the only example recorded on a cover from New Zealand (in red on the face & "BOLTON/JU29/66" arrival b/s, roughly opened, ironed-out & repaired.
