NZ ephemera - street appeal souvenirs: c1900-30s old ledger book contains approx 120 patriotic souvenirs (made of paper, thin card, silk, linen or felt), intended to be attached to lapels after purchase. Almost all diff. In varying states of preservation. About 40 items attached by cellulose tape which may be difficult to remove. Otherwise clean. Approx 30 items relate to the Anglo-Boer War period, 18 to Royalty etc c1901-10 & approx 70 to WWI & later (to c1930). All apparently NZ origin.

Postcards: NZ 1940 Centennial Exhibition colln of 49 (almost all diff) in small album. Mostly "real photo" or photomechanical type, incl approx 20 with imprint of the official exbn photographer, Eileen Deste (many others are probably her work as well). Noted "Playland" x 6, incl 5 comic mock-ups with visitor portraits superimposed. At end, 8 p/c-size private exbn photos (on photo paper stock, plain books), rarely seen due to commercial restrictions at the exbn. Mostly unused, fine. Also publications: a) "N.Z.
