Welcome to our 44th sale. This bi-annual auction comprises 843 lots with estimates over $1.2M. We are priviledged to feature several significant collections. In particular we include the initial portion of Patrick Brownsey's extensive collections of New Zealand, Pacific and Great Britain.

The auction also features material from over 90 other vendors.

Highlights include:
• Over 200 World collections.
• About 2750 FFQs including SG 1, 1/- Bisect cover (SG 6a), 2d London Print mint, and 1d & 2d Pelures imperf mint.
• Fine GVI, QEII Definitives collections & rare individual items & plate blocks.
• NZ 1906 1d Claret Christchurch Exhibition x 2 - superb MUH and mint.
• A good selection of NZ Pigeon stamps & flimsys
• The unissued 1949 3d Vanguard - one of only 7 known.
• Major NZ missing colour errors.
• Teddy Bear Health error on commercial cover as well as a plate block of 6.
• A very fine 12/6d Queen Victoria Long Type mint.
• NZ 35/- Arms x 2, incl a superb MUH & mint.
• Other rare NZ Revenue stamps including a believed unique 1867 £1.2.6 mint.
• Great Britain key high values incl £5 QV orange, £1 Seahorses x 2, & £1 PUC x 2.

 INSPECTION OF LOTS
At the premises of Mowbray Collectables, Main Highway, Otaki, by appointment: from about Monday 19th February to Friday 15th March, during normal office hours;
at the West Plaza Hotel, Wellington: Tuesday 19th March - 9am till 5.30pm, and Wednesday 20th March prior to the Auction - from 9am.

BIDDING

Bids can be placed live during the auction via our live bidding platform.  
Otherwise by mail, phone, fax or email - such bids should be received in our office no later than 8am NZ time (GMT + 13 hours) Wednesday 20th March (at your risk if not received in time).
Due to mail delays, please send bids by email, phone, fax or via the website.
Phone bidding may be made during the auction by prior arrangement only. Total $1,000 minimum in bids applies.

BUYERS PREMIUM
Buyers Premium of 17% (plus GST on buyers premium for NZ buyers) will be added to the hammer price of each lot.  (All buyers please note: no GST will be added to the hammer price of lots).

NOTE: credit card payments will incur at surcharge of 2% for Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

BIDS UNDER 70% OF ESTIMATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED as this is the reserve on all lots. No vendor bids shall be accepted.
