Live Online Bidding in our Public Auctions
Live online bidding during both our Public Numismatic and Stamp Auctions is available through our facility set up with US based firm Auction Mobility.
Bids can be placed LIVE during the auction via either a mobile app (IOS and Android versions are available) or your desktop computer/laptop, allowing you to bid from anywhere, and follow the auction progress online.
Absentee bids can be placed via Auction Mobility up until approximately 30 minutes prior to the auctions which commence at:
Numismatics - Tuesday 19th March @ 12 noon
Stamps - Wednesday 20th March @ 11.30am (GMT + 13 hours).
After which time only live bidding is available on lots as the auction proceeds.
You need to sign up as a user, and then register as a bidder in any auction you wish to bid in.
An invoice for any winning bids and official auction results will be provided by email by Mowbray Collectables within 2-3 days of the auction closing.
Please note that all bids placed in our public auctions incur a 17% buyer's premium (plus GST for NZ buyers).
An additional 3% surcharge applies to ALL winning bids placed through the Auction Mobility live bidding facility, regardless of whether placed prior to, or during the auction.
You can still place pre-auction absentee bids by the usual methods, which do not incur the surcharge, including via our home website www.mowbraycollectables.com
Please note that Auction Mobility requires all estimates to conform to match bidding increments which apply to the auction.
