Terms for Vendors
PUBLIC AUCTIONS
The terms for vendors are as follows:
- Commission on sales 15%.
- Unsold lot charge of $10.
- All consignments must have a minimum estimate value of $1,000. The minimum estimate per lot is normally $250, (some material may need to be combined to reach this figure).
- Insurance fee of 1% of estimate.
- Damaged or poor quality stamps are not wanted under any circumstances.
- No lot is sold under 70% of estimate.
- For NZ resident vendors, all charges are subject to Goods & Service Tax of 15%.
An Auction Catalogue is sent to all vendors 3-4 weeks before the auction.
The last acceptance for material is generally the end of July each year.
