Welcome to our 43rd sale. This bi-annual auction comprises over NZ$850,000 of estimates. We are priviledged to feature two significant collections. In particular Dr Robin Gwynn's Second Side Faces collection, and related Bock & Cousins material. Also Dr Ken Markham's Large Gold medal collection of NZ 19th century postal history and documents.
The auction also features material from over 90 other vendors.

We are certain that there is something for everyone in this sale, with conservative estimates to attract bidding.
To those clients looking for a new collecting field, there is a wide range of lots which provide a wonderful opportunity to form the start of a significant collection.
The market remains strong for quality material.
Overseas bidders please note that the mails continue to be very slow, so please send your bids by email, via the website, fax or phone through to us, if possible. Live online bidding through Auction Mobility is available (see page 4).
Viewing in Wellington is available during the day on Thursday and Friday, as well as Saturday morning, prior to the auction. However you can arrange to view until Tuesday 19th September at our premises in Otaki. We are only 50 minutes from Wellington Airport and ten minutes from Waikanae commuter railway station. We can pick you up from either (by appointment only).

INSPECTION OF LOTS
At the premises of Mowbray Collectables, Main Highway, Otaki, by appointment: from about Monday 14th August to Tuesday 19th September during normal office hours;
at the West Plaza Hotel, Wellington: Thursday 21st September - 10am to 5.30pm,
Friday 22nd September - 9am to 5.30pm, and Saturday 23rd September prior to the Auction - from 9am.
BIDDING
Bids can be placed live during the auction via our live bidding platform.
Otherwise by mail, phone, fax or email - such bids should be received in our office no later than 8am NZ time (GMT + 13 hours) Saturday 23rd September (at your risk if not received in time). Due to mail delays, please send bids by email, phone, fax or via the website.
Telephone bidding may be made during the auction by prior arrangement only.
BUYERS PREMIUM
Buyers Premium of 17% (plus GST on buyers premium for NZ buyers) will be added to the hammer price of each lot. (All buyers please note: no GST will be added to the hammer price of lots).

NOTE: credit card payments will incur at surcharge of 2% for Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
BIDS UNDER 70% OF ESTIMATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED as this is the reserve on all lots. No vendor bids shall be accepted.
